Membership of the Group is open to any registered Venturer, Rover, and Leader of ACT Scouts, as well as Supporters, Adult Helpers and others wishing to make a contribution to our Camp.
Leaders (including Rover Crew Leaders) can organise a service activity for their youth members through this arrangement.
Group Members commit to providing at least 15 hours service (or 2 full days) to Camp Cottermouth projects over a 12 month period, and make a commitment to provide at least 15 hours service per annum on a continuing basis.
Uniformed members of the Service Group will be provided with a Camp Cottermouth scarf and badge. Non-uniformed members will be provided with a Camp Cottermouth badge. A new badge is being designed especially for the Service Group.
Service days or weekends will be held once every 2-3 months to which members will be invited to contribute.
There may be members who are no longer working who would like to spend a day once a fortnight or so providing their service to the camp.
