New Committees page

Added a new page for Committees with contacts and terms of reference summaries for each one, with a link of the Members Area.
Aside from being great information, I needed the contacts for each Subcommittee so I can consult them for my Wood Badge project. :P

Added title for "Branch News" and slightly improved the layout of that section.

Moved the location of the AA Team Meetings to the top of the AA column - so I can include a list of the AA Team Leads in there later.  Also indented the Alpine AA sub-categories for readability.

Renamed AA Team Meetings to AA Team Management in the Members area.

Added a list of the AA Team Leaders and the contact email address of each team so I can consult them for my Wood Badge project. :P

New page created by SiteSuite support people called "404 Not Found" to trap website errors with a nice page instead of the old nasty one (see below screen shot of the old one).  We can edit this page if we want.

• Removed the video picture and text for "Celebrating National Volunteer Week 2023" because that week was 15-21 May 2023.
• Added new picture and link to the Branch Scout Council challenge.
• moved the Vacant Positions pic to the bottom of the table on the page
• removed the text for the images, it's o9bvious you click on the picture.

We use Google Analytics (GA) to collect usage information for the ScoutsACT website.
The current GA stats code is an old one and Google have advised that it will no longer accept usage data after 1 July 2023. A copy of it is below:

Bandana granted me access to the Scouts ACT Google Analytics for our website, so I have just added the new v4 Google Analytics code to the stats codes. A copy of it is below:

I'll log a SiteSuite support call to see if they had the old Google analytics account (doubt it).

10 minutes after making the change I noticed that the Scouts ACT  Google Analyticsaccount is now receiving website usage data. :-)

Added 2 pics and updated the page wording to that requested by the BSC.

Updated the formatting and text of the public page to make it easier to understand the BEC.

Updated the formatting and added some text to indicate frequency of meeting (from Branch Constitution) and link to the public page that lists the members of the BEC (required by the Branch Constitution)

Added the summaries of the meetings we don't have minutes for yet (and emailed Jo asking for them)

Made a new media folder for BEC/2023 and moved the 3 Aug 2023 minutes there & re-linked them on the BEC Minutes page.

New page to store the great updates that Jo our Executive Officer who runs the Branch Office sends out.

Need to check that Jo is OK with this new page that is member-only and accessible from the Members Area page.

Fixed the image of Felicity so it is not stretched.

Added the picture I found when setting up a test slideshow picture module thingy of Group Leaders in 2019.

New page in the members Area for doco for Site Admins.  Contains: policy, procedures and a To Do list. :P

The plan is that in future we will have a group of Site Admins who can use this doco to keep the website up-to-date.

New page to allow Site Admins to test things.  Public but the link to it is hidden somewhere on the public website :P

Added the summary of the 21 September 2023 meeting.

Saw only 10 hits on the BSC Challenge page from 19 visits of the BSC page in Google Analytics.

Changed the link text to BSC Challenge from "Check it out..." to "Click here to check it out..."

Created ScoutHERS Camp page from the information Andrea sent us.

Put the pic she sent on the home page and linked it to the new ScoutHERS Camp page.

Added a 'Branch Venturer Council' link to the 'Get Involved' drop-down menu and pointed it at https://www.actventurers.com.

Jay says that the long term is to migrate all the BVC content over to the main site.

Added the summary of the 26 October 2023 meeting.
